The Senna tea plant, native to East Africa, also grows wild in Chapada Diamantina. The plant can be found in humid, shaded areas at altitudes between 800 and 1,200 meters.
❝ The leaves of the plant are used to make a tea that has laxative properties. The tea is also used to treat other conditions such as constipation, hemorrhoids and bloating. ❞
